The name is the meridian Beijing sits on. We plan private trips to China for travellers from the US and elsewhere, and we handle the whole thing: the visa or transit route, the itinerary, the hotels, the guides and the bookings.

Jane spent her childhood across China, Denmark and Washington, D.C. Brendon grew up between Washington, D.C., Virginia and Raleigh, North Carolina. They met in Raleigh and have since lived as expats in Shanghai and Singapore, travelling through China in ways that are not usually available to tourists, balancing real exploration with the comfort to enjoy it. With professional backgrounds in technology and international trade, they started One Sixteen East to be the bridge for travellers who want the China they have come to know.
